How to Watch Chiefs-Dolphins with Sling TV

The Kansas City Chiefs (and Taylor Swift?) are heading to Frankfurt to take on the Miami Dolphins. Here's how to watch with Sling TV.

Pick up some German sausage and set those coffee pots to auto brew on Sunday because one of the biggest NFL games of the year is kicking off early on Nov. 5. The 6-2 Kansas City Chiefs take on the 6-2 Miami Dolphins live from Frankfurt, Germany at 9:30am ET on Sunday, Nov. 5. Because it features two of the league’s best teams and a handful of its most popular players, it’s no exaggeration to call this the biggest international game the NFL has ever played. Here’s a preview, plus how to watch all of the action live with Sling TV.

How to Watch the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Miami Dolphins with Sling TV

Sunday’s game will air live on NFL Network, which is available on Sling with a subscription to Sling Blue or Orange + Blue. In addition to the Chiefs-Dolphins game, NFL Network will also carry a handful of upcoming games, including another game from Frankfurt (Patriots-Colts) on Nov. 12, a Christmas Eve game between New England and Denver, and a late-season Saturday triple-header. What’s Your Fantasy?

Because it features two of the NFL’s top offenses, Sunday’s game should feature a geyser of fantasy points for both squads. On the KC side, Patrick Mahomes has the third-most points among all QBs, according to FantasyPros, and that’s after struggling against a rejuvenated Broncos defense last week. Tight End Travis Kelce is leading all TEs in fantasy points, despite missing the first game of the season, and even the Chiefs’ defense (7th in points) and kicker Harrison Butker (4th in points) are solid fantasy plays.

On the flip side, there’s no better receiving corps in the NFL than the Miami Dolphins. Former Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill isn’t just leading the league in receiving touchdowns (8) and yards (1,014), he’s on pace to become the first pass catcher to ever have a 2,000 yard season. Although his stats are down from last season, Jaylen Waddle is the perfect compliment to Hill, and he remains a threat to errupt on any given week. And even with injuries affecting their depth, Miami has one of the best running back rooms in the NFL, with both Raheem Mostert (2nd in points) and the injured De’Von Achane (7th in points) in the top 10 in fantasy.

Playoffs? PLAYOFFS!?

Yes, playoffs. Because this is the only regular season meeting between these two teams, the winner will have a distinct advantage if seeding comes down to tiebreakers. Heading into Week 9, the Dolphins and Chiefs are tied with two other teams (the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars) at 6-2, the best record in the AFC. If the season were to end today, the Chiefs would be the top seed in the AFC, and the Dolphins would be No. 2, so a victory over KC would catapult Miami to the top of the conference. Likewise, whoever loses will be rooting against the Jags and Ravens this weekend, or they could fall out of the top two seeds. With only the top seed getting a bye week in the playoffs, there’s a good chance that this game will have implications when the playoffs begin in two months.

Lastly, we’d have our professional blogger card rescinded if we didn’t mention the possibility of a certain pop star potentially visiting her alleged boyfriend for Sunday’s game. That’s right: Taylor Swift may or may not be on hand to once again cheer on KC’s Travis Kelce when he takes the field in Germany. Taylor skipped last week’s game in Denver, which was the Chiefs first loss since week 1. Kansas City is 4-0 with Taylor in attendance, and 2-2 otherwise, so it’s safe to assume that—if she really does possess supernatural powers that single handedly determine the game’s outcome, and there’s no reason for us to believe that’s NOT the case—she’ll be there in Frankfurt.
