With Sling’s new Unlimited DVR, you can record everything you want and save it for up to nine months. Here are all the details.
Imagine a world where you could record every single show, movie, and live event available in your streaming package. Starting today, that’s no longer a dream, thanks to Sling’s new Unlimited DVR (finding the time to watch all that content is another matter).
With Sling’s new Unlimited DVR, you can record, well, everything. For just $5/ mo, there is no limit to your recording space, only the time you have to watch it: all recordings will be saved for nine months. But don’t worry, if that old episode you forgot to watch is getting close to expiring, you’ll see an alert that you have 30 or fewer days to watch it.
What are Sling’s DVR Options?
Unlimited DVR is just one of the many user-focused DVR products available to Sling users. As always, all Sling Orange or Blue subscribers will have 50 hours of DVR space available for no additional cost. Sling also has an industry-leading Auto Record feature that, once enabled, will record sports, TV shows and movies even if you forget. And if you’re just a Sling Freestream user, you can still record 10 hours of shows and movies at no charge, an industry-first for FAST channels.
How to Find Your DVR Recordings
To find your DVR recordings, just navigate to the cloud icon in the app or click the DVR link on desktop. Once there, you’ll find all of your recordings, along with a countdown of when they will expire if there’s less than 30 days remaining. And if you have so many things recorded that your thumb is sore from scrolling, you can use the search function to find your content, which will have a “DVR” label.
From live events like sports and news to your favorite shows and movies, Sling’s Unlimited DVR means you’ll never have to watch commercials again. That alone is well worth the $5, so don’t wait, add Sling’s new Unlimited DVR to your Sling subscription today!
