Pause Your Subscription
If you're moving, traveling, or just want to Sling low for a bit, you can now pause your subscription. To do so, head over to My Account, sign in and then click the Pause Subscription link (as seen in the image below):
Select how long you'd like to pause your subscription for: One, two, or three months. The pause dates coincide with your billing cycle. For example, if you signed up for service on the 18th of the month, you will have the option to pause your service from the 18th to the 18th in one, two or three month increments.
Then, simply review the details on your Pause, including the date it will take effect, the date your subscription will restart, and what you'll be subscribed to when it restarts.
- Select Confirm Pause to finalize.
The Pause will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle and will automatically restart on the date shown. If you'd like to restart your service before the automatic restart, log in to My Account and select Restart Now.
Important Exclusions: Customers taking advantage of promotions (prepay bundles, annual plans, free trials), customers using only gift card as payment, customers that signed up through their devices (excluding Roku), customers that signed up through an affiliate retail partner or customers using Amazon Pay are not eligible to pause their subscriptions at this time.
Note: Ineligible customers should not be able to see the Pause option in the My Account dashboard.
Pause Extra
Pause Extra allows you to subscribe to a $5 price paid-pause bundle offering (AMC+, and DVR +).
- Select how long you'd like to pause your subscription for: One, two, or three months. The pause dates coincide with your billing cycle. For example, if you signed up for service on the 18th of the month, you will have the option to pause your service from the 18th to the 18th in one, two or three month increments.
- Credit Back to You: Once your subscription is restarted after the chosen pause cycle, your credits accrued during that time will be applied back to you on your following bill! For example, if you chose 1 month you get $5 off, 2 months is $10 off, and 3 months is $15 off your next bill!
Note: If you cancel your subscription while on Pause Extra, you will not receive the credits back to you on your account.
Important Exclusions: Customers taking advantage of promotions (prepay bundles, annual plans, free trials), customers using only gift card as payment, customers that signed up through their devices, customers that signed up through an affiliate retail partner or customers using Amazon Pay, Google Billing, Apple Billing, Roku, PayPal, etc. are not eligible for Pause Extra on their subscriptions at this time.

Make sure your account was actually canceled:
Log in at sling.com
If your account is canceled, the My Account page will display options for restarting service (do not select this option if you don’t wish to restart)
If the account has not been canceled, the My Account page will display information about your next billing date and options to change your subscription. Follow the instructions above to cancel your subscription
Check that you don’t have another account:
