Centre Court is loaded with stars on the first day of the tournament, Monday, July, 3. Novak Djokovic is aiming for his first career grand slam, following wins at the 2023 Australian and French Opens. Djokovic could end up facing ascendant World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals, but first, he’ll be competing against Pedro Cachin on Centre Court Monday. With her kid sister Serena now retired, 43-year-old Venus Williams looks to add a sixth Wimbledon singles title to her resume, which would be her first in 15 years. Williams is facing off against Elina Svitolina on Centre Court. And No. 8-ranked Jannik Sinner will finish off the Centre Court action when he faces Juan Manuel Cerúndolo later in the day.
Those are the stakes for Monday, but there is plenty more to get pumped about before the tournament wraps up on Sunday, July 16. Full coverage of the event is on the ESPN family of networks (all ABC broadcasts will be available on Sling TV via ESPN3). To watch Wimbledon with Sling TV, you’ll need a subscription to Sling Orange or Sling Orange + Blue, which includes ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN3.
