How to Watch the 2023 Daytona 500 Without Cable
Stream the 65th running of The Great American Race on FOX with Sling Blue in select markets.
NASCAR’s 75th anniversary season is kicking off just as it has done for decades - a trip to Daytona Beach, Florida in mid-February.
The Daytona 500 is the biggest NASCAR event of the year - no other race has higher ratings, attendance, and prize money awarded, and the winner will carry the eternal moniker of “Daytona 500 Champion” for the rest of their life. It’s a must-watch even if you’re not a racing fan.
Rest assured: if you’ve cut the cord and left cable behind, you can still stream the sports you love, including NASCAR and the Daytona 500. If you live in the following markets, you can watch NASCAR Cup Series racing on FOX with Sling Blue for only $40 a month, by far the best value out there: Atlanta, Austin/Houston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New York City, Oakland/San Jose, Orlando/Gainesville/Tampa, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle/Tacoma, or Washington, D.C.
2023 Daytona 500 Broadcast Details
For the 17th year in a row (and 20th time overall), FOX will broadcast the Daytona 500 live on Sunday, February 19, 2023 beginning at 12:30pm ET, and the green flag will wave approximately 2 hours later at 2:30pm ET. Legendary play-by-play broadcaster Mike Joy will call his 23rd Daytona 500 from the booth, alongside former drivers Tony Stewart and Clint Bowyer. Country music star Dierks Bentley is scheduled to perform a pre-race concert on the infield grass before the green flag waves.
The Daytona 500 isn’t the only event taking place at Daytona International Speedway in the days leading up to Sunday, February 19. Single-car qualifying will take place on Wednesday night, followed by the Duel at Daytona on Thursday night - two 150-mile sprint races that set the starting lineup for the Daytona 500. The first race of the season for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is Friday night, and the season-opening races for the ARCA Menards and NASCAR Xfinity Series will run back-to-back on Saturday afternoon. All of these events will be broadcast on FS1, which is included with Sling Blue or Orange & Blue.
