Women’s Final Four®: How To Watch LSU vs Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech has advanced to their first Final Four® in program history, while LSU is back for the first time since 2008.

The 2023 Women’s Final Four® is without some familiar faces. For the first time since 1995, the Final Four ® will NOT feature UCONN, Tennessee or Stanford. Yes, South Carolina are the heavy favorites, and the world is watching Caitlin Clark and Iowa, but don’t sleep on the No. 1-seed Virginia Tech Hokies. Kenny Brooks' team have plodded along, reaching their first ever Final Four ® behind the duo of Elizabeth Kitley and Georgina Amoore. Though Kitley and Amoore can provide a lot on the offensive end, the Hokies have relied on their defense to get them to this point.

The Hokies will go up against LSU and Kim Mulkey, who is in year two with the Tigers. The former Baylor coach – who racked up three national championships in 21 years – has revitalized what was once a proud program. The 31 wins by the Tigers this year was the team’s most since 07-08, and LSU has leveraged the transfer portal better than anyone. Mulkey’s team is elite offensively, despite struggling in its Elite Eight® win over Miami. The player to watch is Angel Reese, a transfer from Maryland who leads the Tigers in points and rebounds.

The winner will face either the best team in the country – South Carolina – or the best player in the country, Iowa’s Caitlin Clark. Regardless of who it is, you know the Hokies will bring their defense and LSU will bring some offense…along with coach Mulkey’s crazy outfits.
