'90 Day: Last Resort' First Look: Cast, How to Watch and More
Struggling couples from '90 Day Fiancé’ head to the desert in a last-ditch chance to save their relationships. Here's a look at the cast and how to watch with Sling TV.
The circumstances of their courtship may be totally unique, but the couples who appear on the TLC reality smash 90 Day Fiancé aren’t all that different from the rest of us. They all begin their relationships with the best of intentions and, as evidenced by the specific challenges of marrying someone from a foreign country, they put a lot of effort into making their relationships work. But as anyone who has gone through a difficult breakup knows all too well, good intentions and a serious, committed effort still may not be enough.
These bumps in the road are the starting point for 90 Day: The Last Resort. The spin-off series focuses on 90 Day couples who are struggling to make their relationships work, and it finds them attending a “relationship bootcamp” to get back up to speed…or hit the exit ramp for good. Season 2 of 90 Day: The Last Resort premieres Monday, Dec. 2 at 8pm ET on TLC; here’s everything you need to know about this season. This season, the couples will spend three weeks at a “desert oasis” in Arizona. According to a release from TLC, the couples “will work with therapists and counselors to navigate issues of jealousy, anger and intimacy through group therapy and untraditional approaches, including hypnotherapy, pleasure mapping, sand tray therapy and off-grid excursions into the desert. At the end of the retreat, each couple will decide if they stay together or part ways at a final commitment ceremony.”
What are the Other 90 Day Spin-Off Shows?
There are so many 90 Day spin-offs, it would be impossible to list them all here. The short version is that if you’re a fan of the franchise, your best bet is to add Max to your Sling subscription, where you can catch every episode from every series.
However, TLC is launching a new companion show in support of 90 Day: The Last Resort. The new series Last Resort - Between the Sheets – which premieres Mondays following new episodes of 90DTLR – is a one-hour show that dives deep into each episode. According to TLC, fans can expect the couples to provide “behind-the-scenes commentary and personal reflections on their experiences at the resort. Through never-before-seen footage, and unique therapist interviews, viewers will get an exclusive insider look at what really went down when the cameras were and weren’t rolling. This has all the juicy secrets, hilarious anecdotes and emotional moments as your favorite couples dissect jaw dropping scenes.”
